Co-production Expression of Interest

Overview

Adult Social Care at North Northamptonshire Council are looking for people to join us as Experts by Experience.

We use the phrase ‘Expert by Experience’ when we talk about anyone with personal experience of using services or living with a diagnosis or condition.

They are also people from different backgrounds that can help us understand their communities better. This can be based on ethnicity, sexuality, experience of being a carer etc.

We need Experts by Experience so that we can make our services better. 

Experts by Experience can support in a range of activities and projects including: 

• Supporting recruitment 
• Providing feedback on policies
• Supporting staff training 
• Helping to design the services and projects we work on 

There are many different ways people can get involved, including: 

• Complete surveys and questionnaires 
• Join focus groups or forums
• Be a member of a project group 
• Be a member of our strategic co-production group.

Our Co-Production Officer will then contact you to have a conversation, explain more about what you can get involved in, and get some further details.
