Coronation Park, Corby CCTV – additional camera

Closes 13 Jul 2025

Opened 16 Jun 2025

Overview

Coronation Park is a popular park close to the centre of Corby, managed and owned by North Northamptonshire Council (NNC). Over the past 4 years, the park has received the much coveted Green Flag Award and the pavilion and the outer bowling green areas have been transformed into a health and wellbeing hub for local community groups and individuals to enjoy, including a growing project area and sensory garden.

Due to an increase of anti-social behaviour in the area, we are taking proactive measures to ensure the safety and security of visitors, our staff and volunteers, through the installation of two fully functional cameras. One will be located at the top of the main pathway on Elizabeth Street and the second on the edge of the park bordering on Cottingham Road. For increased security, both cameras will link to the town centre system, which is monitored by the NNC safety team. They will be positioned as per the red dots on the map below:

You can share your feedback on the inclusion and positioning of the proposed additional CCTV camera by answering a few short questions via the survey link below. Alternatively you can respond via email or post:
