We sought feedback on plans to install CCTV cameras on Spring Rise Park, Kettering, due to antisocial behaviour in the area.

We received 38 responses. The majority were in support of installation of 2 x CCTV in the park to reduce crime.
We did
An application for the relevant planning permission has been submitted. The aim is for CCTV to be installed in December 2025/January 2026, weather permitting.
Overview
Spring Rise Park, in the Highfields estate in Kettering NN15 6DP is a popular pocket park, used by the local community and includes a childrens play area, toddlers play area, outdoor gym and a free-to-use enclosed ball court.
Due to an increase of anti-social behaviour in the area, Northamptonshire Police and North Northamptonshire Council (NNC) are taking proactive measures to ensure the safety and security of visitors, our staff and volunteers. Funded through the Clear, Hold Build Approach by the Office of the Police Fire and Crime Commissioner, we are proposing the installation of two fully functional closed-circuit cameras (CCTV). For increased security, both cameras will be monitored by staff in a secure location
