Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment - have your say

Closes 6 May 2025

Opened 7 Mar 2025

Overview

Every three years, the North Northamptonshire Health and Wellbeing Board is responsible for producing a Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment (PNA). The PNA is an important document that looks at how pharmacy services can meet the health needs of people in North Northamptonshire over the next three years. The PNA will identify any gaps in pharmacy services, such as whether new pharmacy locations or services are needed, or if improving current services can make them more accessible. These findings help decision-makers improve pharmacy services to better support public health and reduce health inequalities in North Northamptonshire.

The information gathered from the public and contractor engagement, alongside a range of other data, has informed the development of the draft PNA. This consultation survey allows an opportunity for you to review the draft PNA and to provide comment by answering a number of questions. The purpose of this consultation is to establish if the pharmaceutical providers and services supporting the population in North Northamptonshire are accurately reflected in the final PNA document.

Please read these documents before starting the consultation survey.
