Consultation on school admission arrangements for September 2024 intakes
Overview
When changes are proposed to admission arrangements, all admission authorities must consult on their admission arrangements (including any supplementary information form) that will apply for admission applications the following school year. Where the admission arrangements have not changed from the previous year there is no requirement to consult. However, admission authorities must consult on their admission arrangements at least once every 7 years, even if there have been no changes during that period.
North Northamptonshire Council co-ordinates an annual school admissions consultation on behalf of schools of all types in the council area, should they request to be included. The consultation aims to raise awareness of any proposed changes to school admission arrangements and invites comments from interested parties.
The consultation on the admission arrangements for mainstream schools in North Northamptonshire for September 2024 is now open. The consultation will run from Monday 14 November 2022 to Saturday 31 December 2022.
Proposed changes to school admission arrangements - Community and Voluntary Controlled schools for 2024 intakes
The Local Authority (North Northamptonshire Council) is the admission authority for all Community and Voluntary Controlled schools in the council area and is responsible for setting the admission arrangements for these schools.
The local authority is not proposing to make any changes to the admission arrangements for its schools in this consultation round.
