Your voice matters - Help shape our approach to consultation and engagement

Overview

We want to make it easier for you to have your say in shaping local services.

Our new Corporate Plan 2026-29 focuses on the things people told us matter most: supporting families, strengthening communities, helping the local economy grow and making our services smarter, faster and fairer.

To make sure everyone can get involved we’re creating our first Consultation and Engagement Strategy. This will explain how we’ll listen to your views and involve you when we’re making changes, such as improving services or developing new ideas.

But first, we want to hear from you.

How do you want to be asked for your opinion? What would make you want to get involved and share your thoughts?

Please tell us your views by completing this survey. The survey will run from 24 August 2026 until 23.59 on 4 October 2026.

We appreciate surveys aren’t for everyone, so we’ll also be visiting community groups and events to hear people’s views face‑to‑face. We’ll share details of these events locally and through community groups.

Your feedback will help us develop a draft strategy, which we’ll share with you so you can have another opportunity to give us your feedback before it’s finalised.

Your feedback will be part of a report with many other people’s feedback, so you will not be personally identified.

You can also email or send your comments in by post using the contact details below, or by handing it in to one of North Northamptonshire Council’s libraries.

You can also hold your own group discussion with others and provide your joint feedback either by completing the online Group Facilitator's Feedback Form or by downloading the PDF or Word version and emailing or posting the form back to us.
