Adult Learning Service - Learner Survey
Feedback updated 3 Jul 2026
We asked
We sought feedback from current and past learners, as well as anyone who may be interested in Adult Learning. We sought to understand needs and interest and how we can shape future courses to better support the community.

304 responses were received. A few reoccurring themes from the feedback were the dissatisfaction on the removal of the 65 and over concession rate, and the lack of courses in certain areas such as Corby and Brackley. We also learned that the majority of learners prefer face to face courses and there was a few requests to include more weekend courses, rather than midweek.
We did
Taking all the feedback into consideration the plan is to create a prospectus and to provide more information on our tutors. The feedback will help us to develop the prospectus which meets the needs of our communities.
Overview

We’re inviting current adult learners, past learners, and anyone who may be interested in Adult Learning to complete a short survey. We want to understand what people need, what interests them, and how we can shape future courses to better support our community.
Your feedback will help us identify new ideas, improve what we offer, and plan learning opportunities that reflect real demand.
Thank you for taking a moment to contribute. Your input helps us build a stronger, more responsive Adult Learning service.
This survey closes at 23.59 on 30 April 2026.
