Raunds and Stanwick Children and Young People Activity Survey
Overview

The community we live in helps support our health. For example, having a play park, a warm safe place for young people to hang out and socialise. In particular, being active is one way to make friends, have fun, feel good and look after our bodies. It doesn’t just mean sport either, it can include a safe route to walk to school or skate park for example.
North Northamptonshire Council’s Community Team, Raunds Town Council and Stanwick Parish Council are working together to better understand how our community supports our children and young people’s health and wellbeing.
We would like to learn more about:
- What’s available for children and young people to be active in Raunds & Stanwick
- Any difficulties there are in using the facilities we have.
- What other facilities or clubs you feel are needed to allow your child to be active e.g. soccer tots, dance sessions, warm safe place to hang out.
Responses will be anonymous and the results will help us plan what else we can do to support healthy lifestyles in our community. We will share the results of this survey via the schools newsletter and council websites.
We are interested in hearing the views of parents and carers of children and young people in the Raunds and Stanwick area.
This survey closes at 23.59 on 13 February 2026.
